Why Join a Church?
A Biblical Reason – Christ is committed to the Church! Paul tells us that “Christ loved the Church and gave Himself up for her” (Eph 5:25). If Christ is committed to the Church, so we should be also.
A Cultural Reason - We live in an age where very few want to be committed to anything! Commitment builds our character, it calls us to understand and reflect the faithfulness of God, and it provides us a sure and steady foundation from which to build.
A Practical Reason – It helps us within the Church office to know, identify, and serve members of our Church family.
A Personal Reason – It produces Spiritual Growth. The New Testament places a major emphasis on Christians needing each other to help facilitate spiritual growth. Support, fellowship, and encouragement are dispensed as we become part of a Church family
