We currently have (3) three worship services on Sunday mornings. A Service of Tradition at 8am and 11:15 am. A Contemporary Service at 9:15 am. Being a part of a Church family isn’t just limited to attending Church on Sunday morning. It’s about connecting with God’s people and connecting with God throughout the week. This web site is designed to help you find a place to connect above and beyond your Sunday morning experience.

Both our services are designed to worship the living God and empower us as the people of God to “Worship in Spirit and in Truth”. Our Service of Tradition celebrates our rich heritage as the people of God, while our Contemporary service seeks to connect with God in ways more familiar to many. The Traditional services tend to be more formal, with the Contemporary service more relaxed. The Traditional services last for 1 hour, the Contemporary service for 1 ½ hours because of the increased use of the arts. Our desire is that each service will stimulate your heart and mind to engage in worship.

We have around 600 plus people worshipping with us each week and engaging in the life and ministry of our Church. We have a healthy balance of people across the age spectrum, and our Church somewhat reflects the Winter Park area that we live in. We are aware that the vicinity in which our Church is located is rapidly changing and it is our desire to become more ethnically and racially diverse. We are taking steady steps towards this goal. We share a great sense of family together. It is our hope and belief that you will find our Church a very welcoming place for you!

Aloma is committed to making “Fully Devoted Followers of Christ by Witnessing, Discipling, Empowering and Sending”. We believe that the call of God to us is to become his disciples, his followers, who through the power of his Holy Spirit, think as he thought, live as he lived, act and he acted and worship as he did. We believe that this journey is a process that starts with us being witnessed to, continues as we are discipled as a follower of Christ, leads to us being empowered to serve and then sent to make a difference in this world. Everything we do as a Church is focused on helping people get to know and grow in their relationship with Christ.

Aloma has many ministries that provide opportunities to help you grow in your walk with Christ. All our ministries are divided into four teams depending on their primary purpose – They help us Witness, Disciple, Empower or Send. Check out our ministries here. There is much more to our Church than Sunday morning, just as there is much more to our faith than just Sunday morning. We strongly encourage you to join a small group. Some suggestions would be a home group or Sunday school class, Alpha or a Wednesday night class, just to name a few. It is in these small groups that the Good News is made tangible, where people grow, are healed and make friendships that enrich lives in ways we can barely imagine.

It is our hope that from the first moment you pull into the parking lot you feel welcome! As you walk through the lobby you will be greeted by a warm handshake and given a Worship Bulletin. The bulletin contains events that are happening in the life of our Church and the order of worship for our two Services of Tradition. Each of our worship services is uniquely designed to help you connect with God and get to know Him. We do this through singing, praying, sharing together, and teaching from the bible. Please let us know if your time with us lived up to your expectations by dropping an E Mail to Andy Searles, one of our pastoral staff, at AndyS@Alomazone.org

Because it is “through the Church that the Manifold wisdom of God is revealed!” (Ephesians 3:10). John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist Church said that “There is no such thing as a lone Christian”. By this he meant that we need other people around us to fully experience abundant living! Life is too hard to do it on our own and we all need people to cry with, laugh with, and celebrate with. The Church is God’s chosen instrument to share the Good News of God’s incredible love available to us through Jesus Christ. We know of no greater joy, purpose, and privilege of being part of what God is doing in the world.
